horizontal illuminance sensor

Comments

The Eppley Infrared Radiometer has been calibrated in January 1992 at Deutscher Wetterdienst in Hamburg, Germany. The illuminance sensors of the PRC Krochmann 910 GV have been calibrated in summer 1992 against a LiCor LI 210SZ sensor (N° PH 3851) within the IEA Task 17 round robin calibration procedure. The CM 11 pyranometers have been calibrated in summer 1992 in Freiburg against a reference (CM 11 # 840668) from GAP, Geneva. The Eppley NIP has been checked with two pyranometers, one shaded, another on a sun tracker.
All sensors measuring vertical illuminances or irradiances are equiped with an artificial horizon.
Sky luminance and sky radiance are only measured on a campaign basis.

Comments

This is a view along the north side of the station looking toward west.
From the left to the right it can be seen:
- the thermometer hygrometer
- the shadowband pyranometer,
- the pyrheliometer (still without photo-heliometer),
- the illuminance sensors,
- the irradiance sensors.
