The Krochmann cells were checked against the Sheffield cells during January 1993. The Kipp and Zonen cells were calibrated by the Meteorological office in June 1992.

This view is taken looking NNW. The left hand piece of equipment in the background is the diffuse irradiance. In the foreground are the vertical and global illuminances, with the temperature humidity probe on the side of the tower. The rear most piece of equipment on the right is the diffuse illuminance with the vertical and global irradiances at the front.
