Obstruction for the global
horizontal illuminance sensor

Comments

Vertical sensors are kept away clear from reflected light coming from the ground by being set in the centre of a square black honeycomb material.
Calibrations of the diffuse illuminance sensor has been performed at the Building Research Establishment in September 1992. A prototype irradiancemeter has been calibrated at PRMOD - World Radiation Center, in August 1992. Outputs of all other sensors have been compared and adjusted to the calibrated sensors.
