| Site surroundings: Bet Dagan is located in a suburban-rural neighborhood within the greater Tel Aviv area, with a population of about 1 million inhabitants and about 10 km east of the Mediterranean coast. It is located near a major highway. | Climate characteristics: The climate of the south east Mediterranean region is characterized by a mild winter during which the average annual precipitation is 550 mm. The summer is hot and humid. On an average year, there are about 60 overcast days, 150 partly cloudy days and the rest are clear with variable amounts of haze. | |
