Comments

The daylight sensor used at the station has been developed at the Main Geophysical Laboratory (MGO) on the basis of a silicon element with blocking layer. The basic technical features of the sensor meet the WMO requirements for the class I luxmeter.
Metrological support is based on the state calibration scheme for means measuring light magnitudes of continuous and impulse radiation (GOST 8.023-86). Standard instruments for measuring daylight are certified and calibrated by Gosstandart (State Standard).
The daylight sensor is calibrated every year by the MGO in natural conditions (by sun). It was calibrated in 1993.
